Blessings I AM Sanat Kumara. A soul’s duration upon planet Earth, is a spiritual process, and it corresponds to universal principles, which relate to everything God, light, the one-conscious energy, has created. When a soul enters the earthly plane, it is already governed by responsibilities which it has opted to undertake. Life is a way for the soul to experience spiritual evolution, through exploring and developing personality, whilst mastering life experiences. Unfortunately once a soul has entered the Earthly plane, it often finds it hard to remember to focus upon spiritual evolution, and is distracted by the temptations of the physical. Focus changes from spiritual to physical, and instead of allowing spiritual growth to be ranked as the most important element, it is mostly often abandoned by many.
Life upon planet Earth was meant to be a learning environment, whereby a soul would experience growth, love, sharing, acceptance and education. When any of these factors are missing, a soul will create experiences which offer it the opportunity to examine what it is doing, and what needs to be done, to pursue its spiritual evolution. Too often, humans will state they want to be happy, but very few are able to communicate what happiness is, and even fewer fail to step back, and ask what spiritual opportunity for growth their current situation offers them.
You are now in a period known to mankind as Christmas, however, it is not expensive gifts you need, but a time to review your life, a time for prayer, a time for peace, and a time to consider sharing what you have, with those less fortunate around you. It needn’t be material. It can be your time, your presence, your knowledge. It can be the sharing of a meal. It is through these acts of kindness that you become in touch with the divine world. Coming together with others offers you the opportunity to be strengthened, stimulated, and experience love, acceptance and education.
Some of you may wonder why I say education, but being open to differences of opinions, differences of beliefs, cultures, values and lifestyles, opens your minds so that you can learn from each other. We often speak of being a spiritual initiate, and true spiritual initiates have a thirst for knowledge. They read, they consult, they test theories, and they explore the possibilities of everything, so that they can become animated with the revelations of what life has to offer.
Your sustenance does not come from just food and drink; it comes from the world around you. If you are not content with your life, then ask yourself what you are doing for others, instead of why you are not getting what you want. Most of the time, unhappiness comes to those who refuse to grow. Your physical body began as a seed and an egg. Your physical body grows, and it is important that your spiritual body grows too. Life offers you all every possibility for you to experience whatever you want, but just like creating a feast, you have to put all the ingredients together and make them work.
You have to acquire the talents, the knowledge; and put them together with your experiences to make things happen in your life. If you don’t know where you are going, you will never know when you have arrived. You have to channel your energies, and plan your lives. You would not just begin to build a house by taking whatever tools and materials were around you. If you did, it would soon fall down. Your lives are the same. If you do not evolve, it is because you have forgotten to water your own spiritual seeds, your own true potential.
Putting spiritual practices first, be it through prayer, meditation or behaviour, will always enable you to recognise what you want, and how you can manifest that which you desire. We have often spoken in the past about being ‘responsible’ for your own spiritual growth. Life isn’t something that happens to you, it is something you create. It is one of the most beautiful gifts given to you, and if it isn’t working, if it is hard, instead of seeking to blame God, your parents, your bosses, your family, or anything else for that matter, you must seek to control the situation by taking time to sit back and work out, without blame, what is wrong and how you can move things forward.
2012 will be a year where many will be forced to take a long hard look at their lives. For too long, many have focused outside of themselves, sought answers from others. If you are a person who walks the Earth plane asking others, “What do you think I should do?” “What would ‘you’ do?” - then you will find 2012 a challenging year, as external forces will ensure you learn hard and fast, to listen to your heart, and learn to say what you think, what you feel, and step into your own empowerment. 2012 offers all of you the opportunity to alter your consciousness, to elevate it and cast light into the world, so that you can all begin to discover the truth of who you are. There are many of you who have not questioned, or challenged what you have been told to do, think and feel.
2012 is a time of self-reflection, and a time to begin asking questions. Reflect upon what life has brought you, and begin to make a change. Putting spirituality first, at the beginning of the day, will help you master the energies of 2012. It will help you through the process of reconnecting with what you came to Earth to do; and through this, you will free yourself from darkness.
2012 offers all of you the opportunity to find A New Belief that will bring in a love for all things, and most importantly a love of the self. Your experiences in 2012 will bring you many opportunities to see yourself, and others, in the light of truth. There will be a dividing process, to enable you to let go of people, places and things which no longer serve you. Each of these partings will enable you to gain a new understanding. It maybe that it reminds you of a behaviour that you need to relinquish or embrace. It may offer you the opportunity to see how a person, place or thing held you back from who you needed to become. Many of you will experience new states of consciousness, and entering these higher levels of awareness, will cause you to recognise what you need to integrate and what you need to relinquish. Life on planet Earth is an opportunity to master spiritual practices. Seek to master love, kindness, sharing, giving, compassion, understanding, tolerance and forgiveness.
Your ability to learn life-lessons will determine whether you experience things quickly, or continue to re-cycle similar experiences until you have the emotional and spiritual intelligence to recognise the lessons that are being learnt. Each of you have different lessons. Each of you will experience them differently, but all of them will correspond to the spiritual principles and universal laws to help you leave behind your fear-based perspectives, and move into a higher level of consciousness.
Those who are not willing to change, and continue in non-productive habits, will find themselves in dungeons of darkness and despair. It is only in falling into this darkness, can they begin to become aware of the need for change. Pain in life is often thought of as bad, however, sometimes the only way a soul can remember the need to change, is when the pain is too hard to bear, and they are forced to take action. If you are unlucky enough to find yourself, or loved ones, entering into this dungeon of darkness, you must seek to understand this is something which must be gone through. At some time, all souls go through this darkness, and discover the strength that lies within them. Be supportive, and be loving. In the case of others, be detached. They must be allowed to fall, so that when they finally rise up, they do so unaided, and step into personal empowerment.
2012 offers all of you a cornucopia of opportunities. I will continue to guide you through the coming months, but as you enter the beginning of the New Year, I encourage all of you to make spirituality a way of life. By putting spirituality first, you will still have and discover many things, but this time you will find that happiness is not a mere dream, but something that truly exists.
