Where do we go from here?
As we move towards 2012 and beyond how do we live our lives in this new age? Well simplicity and open-heartedness is a good start. We need a world in which we are united, not by our differences, but by what we share.
It is without doubt that we come from a past of self righteousness and self made power, leading to ego, but this can no longer be the way.
We must band together, we must have respect for each other and integrity in the way we live our lives. We must have compassion and care for those that are treading our paths with us and we need to be united in peace around the world. We need to be understated, without ego, we need love to guide us and transparency in our daily life.
We need to know the way home to our sprit selves and we need to show others the way too. This is not a time for despondency and lack of care. This is a time to unite and show our fellow “planet-eers” that we stand side by side to cleanse this great earth. Let us not pick out one environmental abuser but show all abusers and world monopolies that without us they are nothing. Let us show them how to honour and protect our wonderful earth and live along side it nurturing it as we go.
Let us not be deterred by the souls who want us to stay in a selfish, money driven, egotistical, darkness. Let us lead our fellow man out of this negative way of life and show that a sharing, conserving, loving world is a far superior way to live.
Unity, peace and balance can be our future. This is a time for our united and personal growth. We need to be the change we want to see. We can no longer opt out of our community values. We are One. We can respect our differences and respect each others beliefs.
We have to respect our limited water supplies and honour and protect the food we eat. Don’t settle for the processed adulterated food you find in supermarkets. Demand that our plant and animal kingdom are honoured and nurtured throughout their lives and are blessed when their time comes to nourish other beings. Don’t allow their lives to have been in vain, but let them support you in your healthy existence, to carry on the work of looking after their fellow species. Let us learn to preserve the gifts our planet gives us.
If you are a spiritually minded person and you would like to pray, there is a simple but very effective prayer.
Light a light-blue, pink or white candle and connect for a moment in tranquillity and peace. When you feel ready, speak your intention to the flame. Ask for world peace and understanding, ask for unity and love. Ask for enlightenment for all your fellow man so we can live side by side and ask that mother earth be energised and renewed back to being a perfect eco system. After this, send the light out to everything you have asked for, and give thanks.
